In the president election year of the US 2004 journalists asked recordings of my talks from president Bush. He did not give them. He moved them from the White House to the National Treasury of the United States.

When I was discussing with the White House men they also asked from me: who are the persons I want to favour to them. I told some names. I was the first Finn to meet the White House people. I favoured for examle Paavo Lipponen and Sauli Niinisto. They were the next Finns asked to Washington.

When we were stopping discussios with president´s men, I asked them : did you record these talks. They admitted, they did. I understood immediately, the rest of my life changed.

After the New York overflight the senator of that city Hilary Clinton got a phonecall without names. She was told about the flight. The senator said to the media that she knows something how the White House is working. She is going to find out who he was. The senator found out my name. It told nothing to her at that time. Nowadays she knows pretty much about me because I have been a much discussed person in policy in the US. Her husband ex president Bill Clinton has also talked many times about me in the media. In the first time I heard in DR Show or in the VOA he said that he has many years time tried to talk to the Bush team but they do not listen to him. Then goes a guy from a street and talks and they listen. Last year when Bill Clinton was half an hour in a BBC program as the chair of rebuilding commettee of the Indian ocean area he hoped that Pentti would not support president Bush but would instead of it work for HIV and AIDS patients. He talked about Pentti also two more times in that same program. Later I tell how African people have appealed to me to help them and how about fifteen presidents and prime ministers have talked about me.

President Bush has mentioned my name often 2-3 times in a year. Vice president Cheney has published my correction. Ex secretary of defence Rumsfeld mentioned my name often when he talked to American soldiers.
Ex secretary of state Henry Kissinger was the first to notice my effect to president Bush. He was worried because he did not understand in which way. Now he knows that mainly those things were recorded in Chattanooga. At that time I had not yet stepped to publicity in the US. I had decided to be quiet during the possible preparing to Iraq war and during the possible occupation. After the occupation I send my letter to the VOA. A well known American tv salesman was asked later in the BBC: in which way it is sold. He answered, must be done like Pentti did: right things in right time to right media. The US president election year 2004 I also was totally quiet. However I was very much talked there. After the re-election of George W. Bush it was said that I had my effect to that. And the US senate voted: is Pentti Cajan a terrorist or not. I won with about the relation 75-25. So about half of the opposers of president Bush also accepted me. It was also tried to get a law that an outlander must not interfere to president elections of the US. That was however graved because it would have been impossible to follow it. It has happened much also in later years in my life. I write later more.

I followed straightly in the BBC when Saddam Hussein was condemned and later also straightly when he was executed. In his first comments after the execution president Bush said that Pentti´s hope became true, Saddam Hussein is now sentenced by the democratically elected Iraqi administration.

Saddam Hussein was a cruel and dangerous leader and political realism is sometimes hard.

If I send my letters often, some people say Pentti is trying to get publicity. At the same time many people say Pentti should work more. Because nobody is paying me a salary I am not accepted as a member of the working class. Anyway I have interesting hobbies.

One of the best known American generals said once that Cajan was a threat to the security of the U.S. but is not any more because he is in co-operation. The Danish drawings made president Bush to say that Pentti Cajan takes his responsibility, free press must also take its responsibility.

In a 9/11 memory day a writer living in New York said that Pentti has put about ten new words to American English. I know that one of those words is "road map" in a political meaning. It has spread to very many languages. As a translation it used also in the Finish language. The meaning of the term has later become much larger.

One of those terms is maybe "mass destruction weapons". I do not know all of them. It has worked so: if I do not know the term usually used, I create a new term and use it. I do not own an English dictionary. Well, maybe I should.

Even the BBC representers know that PC means Pentti Cajan. Those letters are as good as WB or WC. I have with my own hands and lungs developed a tobacco smelling PC. I think it is not worse than a smelling WC. I have also written a poem to my friends:

Introduction

My name is Pentti Cajan. I am often called also Nero, Schizophrene, Psycho. I met president George W. Bush and two of his assistents working in the White House and some president´s guests in hotel Marriot, Chattanooga, Tennessee. The date was 2001-10-18.

I was participating in that city an International Clubhouse Seminar. I spoke there to nearly one thousand persons and also in smaller workshops.

In 10-17 I discussed with young American rockmusician "Philosopher". He wrote to his papers "Pentti the Finlander". He has written it also to one of his songs. I heard it later in the radio. He was a well educated young man. Success to him.


In the last evening of the Seminar two men came to me. They asked if I have some time to discuss with them. I answered that I have. They told their names and said that they are working in the White House, Washington D.C. They did not tell me plans of president Bush. I began to talk. Sometimes they commented my talks and asked my opinion about some things.

I spoke at first about relations between India and Pakistan and the Kashmir question. The war in Afganistan had just begun. I thought that it leads to a strong homeland crisis in Pakistan. Quite a large percentige of the Pakistanese people were Taleban supporters. I thought however that president Musharraf is talented and experienced enough to govern the situation. The homeland crisis came soon. In some weeks president Musharraf calmed down the country. I guessed too that groups which do not obey the Pakistan government would add attacks to India. It could lead to nuclear war. I made a peace plan for that situation. The nuclear arm crisis came later. In February 2005 I heard the first time that in solving the crisis was used my plan. President Musharraf said then in the BBC World Service that Cajan´s plan was the best to solve that nuclear arm crisis and it effected rapidly. In the summer 2005 India´s prime minister Singh said that India will continue developing peaceful nuclear tecknology but will exactly follow Cajan´s plan.

I also made a peace plan to the Middle-East problem. The aim is: Israel and the Independent Palestinian State side by side. The Gaza-area and the West Bank would be connected by a railway. I planned only the main things. In that moment there was no time for details. I asked the Americans to take also the UN, the EU and Russia with them. So they did. President´s men were immediately very interested of the plan. They called it very good and genious. I called the plan "a kind of road map". In the BBC it is later called also "Pentti´s plan" and "Cajan´s plan". I was also told that you will probably be one of the chairs in the Middle-East peace talks in the end of next summer or in the beginning of next fall. The road map was in publicity however already next spring. That peace plan is not totally abanded yet.

I talked also about North Korea. I proposed that China would be the chair in the six country talks and China would also write proposals. Later when talking about the North Korea situation president Bush sitated me in two, three sentences and added after the sitation: "So said Pentti Cajan".

I told my views about the possible Iraq war. Saddam Hussein was a very big threat and cruel leader. My opinion was that he must be got out of power. President Bush knows my talks well. He is the only person who is able to tell whether my talks had some effect to starting the Iraq war.

We also discussed lighter personal things. Then the men asked, you don´t have a gun? No, I have not. You haven´t either a knife? No, I have not. I showed my pockets to them. They asked me to the highest up floor of the hotel. In the beginning there they at first tested me. It was very well, they said. In one phase of the discussions they asked if I am willing to make a decision instead of the Finish government, because at that moment they had no time enough to take contact to every member of that government. I was willing. The men began to talk about Sonera. They gave me three alternatives from which I had to choice one. Economically equal alternatives. It is Telia, I said. I also told my reasons for the decision. I did not own anything of Sonera or Telia. Then they asked me to tell one day in next spring when it will happen. I told that according the Finish calender 21th March is Pentti´s name day. They looked at the calender and said it is ok. It happened so next spring. They phonecalled to older president Bush, spelled my name to him, told where I live, about the good Middle-East peace plan and mentioned that he has other good plans too. Because I had not made any troubles to older president and there where no remarks about me in the intelligence services they next phoned to the UN headquarters in New York. They said that older president and the White House recommend me and some other things. They got the permission to arrange the UN Security Council stamp to my pass. In my pass there are also the pencil made letters WB (alias George W. Bush) and the class-stamp.

We moved to next room. There were about 15 persons. The men asked me to look around me to tell whom I know. I did not see everybody´s faces but I knew president Bush and Mr. Ari Fleischer. I was told that those people are not local. We discussed a moment and then they asked a service from me. So I choiced one lady out of five, if I understood right to a minor role in a Clint Eastwood film. Soon we went back to the elevator and they asked me to the back door of the hotel. We discussed there still seriously and I was shown the speciality of the hotel: very large three-dimensional pictures. Soon we said bye and I walked to the front door to smoke.

I was having my nervesmokes when a young, beautiful lady came to me. Politely she asked a permission to disturb me a moment. She said you don´t believe but she is princess Madeleine of Sweden and she would like to ask me a thing. I asked in Swedish: Talar du svenska (do you speak Swedish)? I said to her that sometimes it´s happening: I just met president Bush and now you. I was very proud because she knew also my second name. I admitted because "I as a young man had been working in Sweden and because my sister still lives there".

Next morning we started back to home. It was like president´s men had supposed the evening before. We flew low over Pentagon, then low over Washington and later low over New York. We photographed the ruins of the WTC. I try later to put a photo of the ruins to this blog. The safety arrangements of the White House were good: the fighters above Washington and New York did not shoot us down. After landing in Boston the captain of the plane said thank you Pentti. I smiled to him. We understood each other. The flight was a little bit later in a trial but nobody was sentenced. A philosopher "Pena" had flown over New York in the White House protection. We had changed plane in Memphis. An airport officer told there that the plane which left this gate before you crashed against the WTC. You are the only ones who after that will leave that gate. After you the gate is probably museed.

After those events I have worked pretty much and participated the international discussion. During the first phase of the Iraq war and the US presidential election year 2004 I was quiet. A letter which I in November 2003 sent to the radio station "Voice of America" made me known.
I have also sent one letter to NPR´s Diane Rehm show and quite many letters to the BBC World Service. The BBC has really adopted me. In the USA I have been a discussed person. President Bush has mentioned my name many times after those events. Many other presidents and prime ministers have also talked about me. After those days I have been a co-operator of president Bush and the USA. In 2005 a BBC reporter said often: Pentti went straight to history. In that year also al Qaida minded terrorists tried to murder me. The US intelligence service and the local police of a country were able to stop them. International attention and publicity are not a small thing in an individual´s life. In 2005 I almost got the Nobel peace prize. I think I shall later tell more about the years after Chattanooga.
